Traditionally, it is worn around the neck or wrapped around the wrist. Many people wear it on the right side, though some wear it on the left side basis their comfort. You will however receive an instruction card on how and when to wear the product.

We recommend removing the mala while bathing or sleeping to preserve its quality.

The Karungali mala with silver caps is made with 54+1 beads while the Jaap mala has 108+1 beads.

Karungali Mala is traditionally made from the wood of the Karungali tree, also known as 'Black Ebony'

Traditionally, Karungali Mala is worn on Tuesday, Saturday, or during Shiv-related days. However, you may wear it on any day you feel ready or comfortable. Intention matters more than timing.
